Gogo's Skill- Mimic
Gogo has perhaps the best, most overlooked skill in the game. He can mimic almost any command that was taken before his turn, without using MP, or waiting for a guage to fill. If Sabin uses Phantom Rush blitz
 , and Gogo's turn is right after, Gogo will perform the blitz
 . and you do not even have to enter the command to do so!
Another feature that is easily missed, is you can actually assign other characters skills to Gogo. To do so, go into Gogo's status screen. In his command menu, under Mimic, are three empty slots.Use the select button to access one of these slots, and a list of skills from all the characters are displayed. You can choose any three skills you want, in addition to adding the Item, Fight, and Magic commands.
A couple of things should be noted as well. Gogo has no spells of his own, since he cannot equip Espers. If you choose Magic, Gogo will have all the spells of the current party he is with. Also, Gogo cannot mimic or use Terra's Trance skill. He isn't an Esper after all!

Umaro's Skill- Yeti Rage
(This is another skill i gave a name to) Umaro has no real skill. He is an uncontrollable powerhouse, with way to much strength. Initially he can only attack enemies, but there is other things he can do... if equipped right. You need to find two relics in the World of Ruin, to unleash all of Umaro's power.
 The first is the Blizzard Orb found in the ancient castle, in the room to the right of the thrones. With this, you will give Umaro the ability to use his Blizzard attack.
The second relic is the Berserker Ring found in the Veldt Cave. This will give Umaro three new powerful attacks: his leap, shovel, and throw attacks.
With his leap attack, Umaro jumps into a group of enemies to do serious damage.
 With the shovel attack, Umaro uses his Bone Club, (Stolen from a Punisher, or won at the Colosseum) to damage the enemy.
 With Umaro's throw attack, he will actually throw another party member at the enemy for some big damage.
So it is not entirely true that Umaro has no skills. You just cannot control them. |
