He is one of two people in the world, who can successfully wield a Gunblade. Squall has a quiet reserve, and tends to keep to himself. This makes him seem cold, and mean in the eyes of his peers. They tend to steer away from Squall, and that suits him just fine.

She chances upon Squall, while asking SeeD for assistance. Unlike Squall, Rinoa has a very outspoken demenor, and has a tendancy to get emotional. She will however, prove vital to the survival of her companions.

When she came to Balamb, she was all too eager to take the events there. She has a fantastic, outgoing personality, that garners her many friends. She is highly skilled with her Nunchaku, as well as special magic.

He, along with Raijin and Fujin, make up the Garden Disciplinary Committee. Seifer is the only other person in Garden that can use a Gunblade. He and Squall often clash, and sometimes it results in injury.
